Switch the Windows 7 or Vista Power push button* to Shut Down/Sleep/Hibernate

The absence activity for the Power button on the alpha card in Windows 7 is shutdown, and in Vista is Sleep, which isn’t necessarily advantageous for everybody, so we’ll explain how to change it here.
Change Windows 7 Abeyance Button
Windows 7 makes it absolutely accessible – aloof arch into the Alpha Card / Taskbar preferences by right-clicking on the alpha card and allotment Properties.
All you charge to do is change the drop-down for Ability Button Action to whatever you would prefer.
Change Windows Vista Ability Buttons
